Kelowna Office

Highlands Irrigation has built its reputation by offering ‘on site’ assessments and advice as well as offering continual service for the product that we have delivered. The Kelowna office allows Collin and Mike to give better service to our valued customers in the Southern Interior.

Collin Sandager has worked with our team since 2003. He was born and raised on a mixed farm in Preeceville, Saskatchewan. He completed his BscAg, majoring in Environmental Science from the University of Saskatchewan. He also has his Irrigation Design Certificate. Collin’s academic performance combined with his pleasant manner, mechanical ability and agricultural experience make him a great asset to Highlands.

Mike Ford has worked part-time for Highlands for years, from our head office in Williams Lake. Mike completed his B.Comm. from the University of Victoria and has been working in the tourist industry since that time. He demonstrates strong people skills and this asset combined with years of experience at Highlands gives him a clear understanding of the needs of our customers. He will assist Collin in the field and manage the logistics of our Kelowna office.

Collin and Mike have excellent daily communication regarding all projects with their management team in Williams Lake.

Design and quotes are currently done from Kelowna. All systems and all parts and fittings continue to be shipped from Williams Lake. Highlands continues to offer ‘overnight’ courier delivery to all parts of the province.

Collin and Mike plan to be on the road most of the time, so a quick phone call to make an appointment is advisable.

Our entire team at Highlands Irrigation is excited about this new office and we are dedicated to offer our customers the most efficient and the most economic product for their property.

About Us

Highlands Irrigation was established in 1974. The company is owned and operated by Richard and Donna Ford and supported by well educated and experienced staff who focus on finding solutions for any water related project. Our head office is located in the centre of BC’s cattle growing region at Williams Lake. There is also a satellite office in central BC at Kelowna. We travel throughout BC and the Yukon to serve our customers.

The company has two divisions. The Agricultural division provides sales, service, delivery and installation of irrigation systems to farms and ranches. The Domestic division designs and installs deep well pump systems for single-family dwellings, small municipalities and industrial sites. This service includes, water testing, system design, water treatment advice and installations. Industrial installations include a variety of water service and drainage products.

We are committed to being leaders in the industry. We respect the individual needs of each of our customers and communicate constantly to design systems in the most efficient and economical manner. We have a long-standing association with industry manufacturers throughout the world. We maintain a continuous program of research and development to meet the needs of ever improving equipment and technology.
