Happy New Year!

factory in Paulhan, France. |
It’s wintertime at Highlands Irrigation!
We are all very excited about the announcement that the borders
are opening March 7th. Surprisingly our phones are busy as
our ranchers find time to do their spring planning. Rob Moon
is especially busy keeping the water flowing for our domestic
customers through these extreme winter conditions.
Each winter our major suppliers encourage us to join them
at production information seminars. Earlier last autumn I
traveled to the Irrifrance Hosereel factory in Paulhan, France.
Much of the visit was spent on service and parts delivery
to ensure an improved delivery of parts this spring to our
customers. I also attended a K-Line seminar in St. Joseph,
Michigan. We are very impressed with this pasture irrigation
product, as were the dealers I met from all areas of the USA.
Customers are finding the K-Line system to be a simple, low-pressure
system that is easy to move with an ATV and fits the criteria
of sound irrigation design. Collin and Vern will be attending
the annual meetings at Lindsay Manufacturing later this month.
The information offered at these meetings is invaluable to
us and to our customers.
We believe in the product our customers produce and the integrity
they apply to the Ag industry. Our commitment is to continue
to help you plan your improved pump and irrigation system
in the most economical and efficient method possible.
We have built our reputation over the past 30 years on customer
service. We continue to travel to all parts of the province
to offer professional and personal advice. We welcome your
enquiries and remind you that our input is offered with no
obligation.
Thank you to all of you who have given us positive feedback
on our new website. We are really pleased with the response
and we hope it continues to give you a good overview of the
history and activities of our company as well as an informative
link to our major suppliers. For your convenience, we also
link to the weekly cattle market report from BC Livestock.
You will find the site is at: www.highlandsirrigation.com.
Everyone at Highlands joins me in wishing you the very best
in 2005. We look forward to our continued business association.
Yours
truly,
Dick Ford,
President,
Highlands Irrigation Ltd.
